It was all GWS for the opening half and the first part of the third quarter, but come the middle of the premiership quarter, Brisbane lifted to kick five goals in a row.
In the final term, Joe Daniher was the hero to stand up with the final two goals of the game to put the Lions up after being 44 points down to shatter orange hearts across Western Sydney and book themselves a preliminary final date against Geelong.
