PAYNEHAM Norwood Union Football Club is celebrating its most successful season ever, with six teams taking home premiership flags.
The Falcons' under-11 red, under-15 white, under-15 red, under-16 white, C-grade and A-grade teams all won grand finals earlier this month.
Club chairman Rob Fragomenie says the club is "ecstatic" with the success.
"This is the greatest year we have ever had thus far in the history of the club," Fragomenie says.
"Every team that could play for a premiership played in finals which is a huge achievement in itself.
"There has been so much excitement from getting into the final, playing finals and winning grand finals."
Under-15 white full forward Jack Hersey, whose team was undefeated all season, says he still cannot believe the win.
"I've been playing for nine years and this is my first grand final and my first premiership so it's really exciting," Jack, 15, says.
"It's something I've always dreamt about."
Teammate Tyson Egglestone says recording a perfect season is a "surreal" experience.
"As soon as that final siren went, it was just instant joy," Tyson, 15, says.
