North Adelaide Football Club calls on fans to show support in finals on the back of dwindling crowds
NORTH Adelaide Football Club is calling on fans to come out of the woodwork for this month's SANFL finals.
NORTH Adelaide Football Club is calling on its fans for support during this year's finals campaign, with crowd numbers down despite a stellar first half of the season.
Average crowds at Prospect Oval this year have been 2648, compared to 2817 in 2012.

The Roosters sat at second on the ladder a month ago, after winning 11 of 15 games, but after four consecutive losses, slipped to fourth.
As the Roosters headed to their seventh finals' series in 10 years, North Adelaide chief executive Greg Edwards hoped supporters would back the club in the finals despite its recent form.
"Our home crowds have been really good however we've had two snags that have halted our progress - wet and muddy conditions and our performance," Mr Edwards said.
"We understand why supporters have turned away but we know we can get back to our form earlier in the season.
"Our biggest priority in attracting crowds is winning."
Mr Edwards said the weekend's bye was much needed for the players.
"We used the weekend to revitalise the group and remind them how good they are. We needed confidence back in the group and we know we have our best in us."
He acknowledged some traditional supporters were disappointed with the club's decision to support an Adelaide Crows reserves team in the competition next year.
North Adelaide was among the six clubs to vote in favour of the decision.
South Adelaide and Central District were the two clubs which voted against the 15-year deal.
"We know there are some supporters who strongly disagree with the evolution of the competition and I respect that," Mr Edwards said.
North Adelaide marketing manager Megan Curtis said the club "looked to return to our best form for finals football''.
She said the club had also been boosted by a new sponsorship deal.
"Our best is capable of winning the flag."
North Adelaide plays Norwood on Sunday (September 8) at Coopers Stadium, The Parade, Norwood, at 2.10pm.
