BOB Murphy will make his return to football on Saturday, with the Western Bulldogs veteran fully recovered from a hamstring injury.

Murphy hasn’t been seen in the seniors since Round 10. In that time the Bulldogs were smashed by Sydney and Melbourne before beating North Melbourne by a point last week. The 35-year-old comes into the senior side for Tom Liberatore who will miss the clash against West Coast with a corkie. SEE THE FULL ROUND 15 TEAMS BELOW Fellow veteran Matthew Boyd will play in the VFL again after being named as an emergency. This will be Boyd’s third game in the VFL after being dropped earlier this month. Meanwhile the Eagles have been forced to swing the changes with Matt Priddis (general soreness), Josh Hill (illness), Shannon Hurn (concussion) and Will Schofield (hip) all missing. They have been replaced by forgotten midfield duo Sharrod Wellingham and Chris Masten. Jack Redden and Sam Butler also come into the final 22. Carlton’s Jed Lamb will miss his side’s clash with Adelaide after failing to recover from the head knock he suffered in an incident with Bachar Houli. Lamb is one of six outs for the Blues with Blaine Boekhorst, Jarrod Pickett and Billie Smedts all omitted while Sam Petrevski-Seton (managed) and Ed Curnow (larynx) will also miss. Simon White, David Cuningham, Zac Fisher, Sam Kerridge, Ciaran Sheehan and Liam Sumner have been named as replacements. For Adelaide, Mitch McGovern will make his return to senior football after suffering a serious hamstring injury in Round 3. Collingwood has named midfielder Josh Thomas in its squad to take on Hawthorn on Sunday. SUPERCOACH FORMGUIDE: HOW TO FIND A FAST FINISHER If he is selected in the final 22, it will be the 25-year old’s first senior game since 2014. Thomas served a two-year drugs ban after testing positive to a banned substance in March 2015. Thomas was elevated off the club’s rookie list on Thursday. “It’s a great reward for him and he has ultimately been rewarded by selection in the senior team,” general manager of football Geoff Walsh said. “He has done a good job getting back after some good form in the VFL.” The Magpies will finalise their squad on Friday afternoon. In other team news, Josh Kelly, Rory Lobb and Devon Smith are back for the Giants while Aaron Sandilands and Nat Fyfe return for Fremantle. SEE THE FULL ROUND 15 TEAMS BELOW
