It was a huge Saturday of SuperCoach talking points — from Jordan Ridley’s incredible return to a host of big-name flops. Recap all the key moments here.

Jake Stringer lit up the MCG early, but it was Jordan Ridley became a major SuperCoach watch with a best on ground performance.

Stringer kicked four goals while Dustin Martin wound back the clock and provided the star power for the Tigers, proving his greatness in big games.

Earlier, a devastating second half propelled Carlton to a commanding 29-point win over Gold Coast at Marvel Stadium which saw the Blues re-enter the top eight.

Meanwhile, Port Adelaide have heaped further pain on North Melbourne’s season with Saturday’s 59-point win at Blundstone Arena seeing the Roos slump to a 0-11 start.

Late heroics from Toby Greene and Leek Aleer lifted the GIANTS to glory, resulting in major SuperCoach scaling.

It lifts the GIANTS to fourth on the ladder, whereas they would have dropped out of the eight had they have lost.

The Cats have now lost four in-season games in a row for the first time under Brad Scott.

THE THREE TAKEAWAYS:

JORDAN RIDLEY HAS TO BE ON YOUR SUPERCOACH RADAR

He’s back. Yes, I’ve been burnt by him before, so I’m sure you have too. But that was one stellar performance! He had 31 disposals at 87% efficiency, 14 intercept possessions and eight intercept marks, surpassing his previous high score against Richmond (122) by 40 points. With two games to play until Essendon’s bye, you could get away with waiting until Round 15 - but you will have to wait out one major price rise. His breakeven is 102 - 60 points below tonight’s score. His whopping 162 is the highest score of the round so far, and I can’t ignore it. Looking towards his next match ups, three of Carlton’s defenders broke the ton against Gold Coast today, while on the flip side, the Blues let Mac Andrew run rampant. These next two matches will be crucial to define whether he is truly back - but I think he is. I’m a Ridley believer (but, he is injury prone).

CLOSE GAMES ARE SUPERCOACH GOLD - JUST ASK LEEK ALEER AND TOM STEWART

With their backs against the wall, Tom Stewart and Leek Aleer stood up in a big way for their respective sides. It showed off the best of SuperCoach scoring, with scaling skyrocketing their scores above 100.

Stewart had seven disposals, five kicks at 86% efficiency and three intercept possessions in the final quarter while Aleer had five intercept possessions, 100% efficiency from five disposals and a game-saving mark.

Sometimes, just when you think your SuperCoach will fail to fire, scaling will have your back. It’s the beauty of the game we all love.

- Chloe Williams

ROZEE IS CHEAP - AND GETTING CHEAPER

Port Adelaide captain Connor Rozee averaged a career-high 107.6 in SuperCoach last year and looked destined to elevate himself into the uber premium scorers. And he was on track, averaging 116.6 to round 5. But since then it has been a rocky road - 65, 91, 53 and 39 (with three scores impacted by injury). That down month will put Rozee in prime territory to a mid-season bye target just after Port Adelaide has the week off in round 13. Rozee had a break even of 157 and only scored 39 against North Melbourne, so after starting the year at $601k he’ll drop below $500k come Sunday night. If he’s $450k after the bye, take a serious look.

FT SuperCoach Update:

Essendon’s presence in the top SuperCoach scorers reflects their strong finish, with scaling lifting the scores of Langford, Durham and Merrett.

Langford added 43 points in the final term while Merrett lunged from outside the top ten to clinch the fifth highest score of the night.

Martin fell just short of a ton while Ridley starred.

The returning backman recorded his highest score against the Tigers, which was previously 122. He had 31 disposals at 87% efficiency, 14 intercept possessions and eight intercept marks.

Richmond rookie McAuliffe ($148,500) scored 75 points - well ahead of his -34 breakeven.

Nankervis held strong for the Tigers, who fought hard all night.

Unfortunately Tigers defender Tylar Young has suffered an ACL injury in the VFL - another blow following their close loss.

Here are the FT scores:

FT SuperCoach Scores: Richmond v Essendon
FT SuperCoach Scores: Richmond v Essendon

10.18PM: TIGERS RESPOND

Hugo Ralphsmith has provided a response, keeping Richmond’s hopes alive. They’re +11 in contested possession - one clean takeaway could be all they need to get the game within their grasp.

Six Bombers have now broken the ton - none of which are Nic Martin.

10.13PM: BOMBERS LIFT

Goals to Merrett and Langford see the Bombers hold a game-high eighteen point lead.

Similarly to Aleer earlier, Merrett’s goal in particular broke the scoring ice, making it a game and SuperCoach-shaping moment.

10.05PM: TIGERS SURGE

Richmond have had plenty of opportunities in their forward half, kicking four behinds this term.

The game is back within a kick with ten minutes to play.

Will they be able to get the job done without the star power of Bolton?

9.59PM: BOLTON DOWN

Bolton has exited the field for evaluation following a collision with Lefau.

I spoke too soon on Bolton’s ton ... he’s been subbed out of the action, replaced by last week’s debutant Steely Green.

That means Green will be set for a price rise at the end of the round - at $123,900, his breakeven is 26.

3QT SuperCoach Update:

Ridley is putting on a SuperCoach masterclass, sitting on 130 at 3QT.

Despite his early season red hot form, Vlastuin sits on only 30 points, while Campbell has lifted to 65 - higher than is breakeven.

Bolton (98) and Martin (72) will have to continue their dominance if they are to lift the Tigers, making an increase in SuperCoach output almost a certainty.

As I’ve had to say many times recently - close games are great for scoring. We saw it earlier today with Aleer, who rose almost 30 points following his final minute heroics. Scaling is our friend!

3QT SuperCoach Scores: Richmond v Essendon
3QT SuperCoach Scores: Richmond v Essendon

9.39PM: BOLTON TO MARTIN

Dusty has three, Bolton has two and it’s back to a one point game.

As a result, Bolton has cracked the ton - rewarding the 10,241 who continued to back him in despite three recent low scores.

Prior to that, he produced consecutive scores of 119, 133 and 129.

The Tigers are +16 for contested possessions despite the fact that they’re currently ranked last in the competition in this metric.

9.30PM: REDMAN DOWN

Redman has gone down to the rooms - updates to come.

He has emerged from the rooms and is being treated on both hamstrings by the physios, but nothing too concerning seems to have occurred.

The pressure has lifted and a small melee ensued.

Ridley is already on a whopping 126 SuperCoach points with six minutes still to play in the third quarter - he’s has 24 disposals, 19 kicks and 11 marks with 88% efficiency.

9.15PM: TIGERS HIT THE FRONT ... MOMENTARILY
For the first time in five rounds, Richmond has broken the into the 50’s.

This euphoria hasn’t lasted long, though, as Langford provides an instant reply for the Bombers.

Soon after, Stringer recorded his foruth goal of the day - an impressive dribbler which extends Essendon’s lead to 13 points.

HT SuperCoach Update:

Shai Bolton has lifted for the Tigers with 12 disposals - 7 of which have been kicks - with 75% efficiency.

Bombers backman Martin continues to rise despite the rise of Ridley, who leads all comers with 84 points.

Rookie pick Caddy (28) has had a decent debut so far without recording a major, while Tom Brown (39) and Campbell (41) are also tracking well.

HT SuperCoach Scores: Richmond v Essendon
HT SuperCoach Scores: Richmond v Essendon

8.49PM: MYKELTI MAGIC

Lefau has kicked two goals in a matter of minutes and it’s back to a one goal game.

He sits on 48 points, priced at $270,800 after a +$168.4k price rise.

8.41PM: WHY NOT BOTH?

Both Ridley and Martin and scoring well, on 64 and 51 respectively.

This was prior to Ridley’s goal, and free kick for (50m penalty) - both of which will advance his score.

The penalty comes as part of a spare of 50m calls which have caused conjecture throughout the competition as of late.

8.30PM: DREAMTIME DAVEY

Alwyn Davey Jr shows his class to score an electric goal and celebrate in style.

A popular rookie last year, he no longer boasts the same SuperCoach relevancy but continues to inject excitement with his speed and class.

8.28PM: MARTIN MAKES IT TWO

Dusty is leading the SuperCoach scoring for the Tigers following his second goal.

Could the game come down to Dusty v Stringer?

It is a hot contest the ‘G, and Richmond now have the lead.

8.21PM: COX DONE

Unfortunately, Cox is done for the day with hamstring tightness and Tsatas comes into the action.

QT SuperCoach Update:

The Bombers lead the scoring, but the game is tied up at 21 points a piece at the first break.

Ridley (40) has had a stellar return and bolted back into SuperCoaches trade plans.

Stringer (43) and Martin (30) have had moments of individual brilliance which have boosted their scores.

Tigers rookie Seth Campbell has 26 points - he sits at $219,600 after a +$95.7k price rise and has a breakeven of 48.

Nate Caddy ($166,800) sits on 13.

QT SuperCoach Scores: Richmond v Essendon
QT SuperCoach Scores: Richmond v Essendon

8.02PM: DUSTY DOMINATES

He’s been waiting for a big game - and the Dreamtime clash is exactly that.

What a goal!

Owned by only 2% of coaches, he’s never quite been a SuperCoach star as his best games have come in the finals, but his skills will keep his team alive today.

As I type this, he has gathered his eighth touch and is taking the game by the scruff, sitting on 29 SuperCoach points.

Ridley has had ten touches and five marks, trailing him on 27 points.

Nic Cox has just gone down to the rooms - updates to come.

8.09PM: THREE STRIKES FOR STRINGER

Stringer has kicked another! I wasn’t convinced when I wrote it earlier, but he is well and truly on track to kick six and record his 350th goal in his 200th game - that’s a lot of numbers, but all in all, it means he will be a huge factor if Essendon is to win tonight.

He sits on 38 points, while Martin has risen to 21 - phew.

8.00PM: RIDLEY WATCH IN FULL SWING

That’s the update.

He sits on 27 points so far, while the ever trusty Nic Martin sits on only 2 ...

Could Ridley’s SuperCoach promise come at the expense of a 2024 favourite?

7.47PM: STRINGER’S 345TH

In his 200th game, Stringer has kicked is 345th goal. If Essendon have a night out, could he reach his 350th? Only time will tell.

He’s only averaging 62.5 SuperCoach points, but a bag of goals tonight could see him well surpass his average.

He has a second and is known to rise for the big occasions.

7.44PM: SUBS FINALISED

Steely Green and Elijah Tsatas have been locked in as tonight’s subs.

Jordan Ridley will be a SuperCoach watch on his return - once a pillar of many backline’s, he’s only $530,300 but has a breakeven of 102, so could be set for a price drop after two games.

Tonight’s Dreamtime match also marks Jake Stringer’s 200th game.

FT SuperCoach Update:

There’s a big, big sound that has spoiled Hawkins’ party - it started with Greene and ended with Aleer, who took the game saving mark in his seventh game.

Aleer ($123,900) recorded 105 points after huge moments scaled his score. His breakeven is -42 and he should hold his spot until Buckley returns - congratulations to the 1,906 coaches who traded him in this week.

Holmes starred while Stewart lifted after a slow start.

Green, however, did not - with a score of 77, is he a fallen premium, or just falling? I thought he was a bargain, but I’ve been left with bargain regret.

Here are the FT scores:

FT SuperCoach Scores: Geelong v GWS
FT SuperCoach Scores: Geelong v GWS

7.05PM: GREENE RISES

A solid effort so far, but a far cry from his four goal GMHBA hauls.

Until now.

A brilliant banana from the GIANTS captain - I’m allergic to bananas, but that was spectacular. He sits on 93 points.

The inside 50 count has widened for this quarter, with 18 (Geelong) to 3 (GWS).

Greene just gave away a 50m penalty, though, which is a huge SuperCoach no.

Here’s what Al had to say on Thursday.

7.00PM: HOW ARE THEY DOING IT?

Geelong’s forward half pressure has allowed it to maximise it’s time inside forward 50, but will they be able to keep it in there long enough?

Eleven minutes to play, one point the difference.

All scores from here will have scaling applied - so both glory and mistakes alike will be punished and rewarded.

The Cats have had 22 inside 50s to nine.

6.53PM: ALL DRIED UP

The tsunami warning was ringing and ringing loud, but now, the water has all but dried up as Geelong gain ascendency.

In similar fashion to last night’s draw, the pressure has lifted now that the game is within reach for both sides - Geelong sit on 221 while GWS sit on 203.

A dribbler from Brad Close and the Cats have hit the front - or not?

The score has been reviewed, and is overturned. A behind.

Jack Bowes has been subbed into the match in place of Toby Conway.

6.45PM: STEN-GOAL

I really just wanted to use that headline, but the Cats are back within seven points.

The GIANTS have lost five of their last six fourth quarters, and if they are to fall tonight, they could drop out of the eight if Narrm claim victory.

ANOTHER ONE! A costly mistake for Leek Aleer, who has had a strong game so far.

Stengle has lifted to 80 SuperCoach points, which will be scaled if Geelong are to emerge with the four points.

He’s in only 1,636 of teams.

3QT SuperCoach Update:

Green, who’s owned by 48% of coaches, sits on 59 points at 3QT.

For Geelong, DEF/MID Holmes (93) is proving to be a valuable asset heading into the bye rounds.

Rookies Dempsey (11) and Thomas (39) have been underwhelming alongside Whitfield (53) who is in 25,120 teams ... including Tim’s.

3QT SuperCoach Scores: Geelong v GWS
3QT SuperCoach Scores: Geelong v GWS

6.35PM: BACK ON

The Cats are back on.

A trademark Hawkins snap sees Geelong back in the game, lowering the margin to 13 points.

Who else?

6.19PM: CAMERON IT IS

From Hawkins to Cameron, and GMHBA Stadium breathes a sigh of relief.

It’s a great nod to Hawkins, who is renowned for his goal assists - and the Cats needed it now more than ever.

It was essentially a two goal turnaround, with Hogan missing a set shot down the other end despite kicking a major moments earlier.

Green has 2o disposals for the GIANTS, but with an efficiency of 50% and only three kicks, he sits on only 42 points.

The clearance count for the quarter sits at 8-2 in favour of GWS and remains a major cause for concern for the Cats.

6.12PM: GIANT CONCERN LOOMS

And it looms for the Cats.

Riccardi gets another to propel GWS to a 24-point lead.

The Cats have never lost four games in a row in-season under Chris Scott.

Who will respond? Could it be fallen SuperCoach premium Tom Stewart, or the ever dangerous and 6%-owned Jeremy Cameron?

HT SuperCoach Update:

The GIANTS have doubled their best clearance differential of the year in a dominant second term.

Riccardi has been the beneficiary, leading all scorers.

Holmes and Guthrie have battled it out for the home side, but they’ll need a team effort if they want to clinch the victory to celebrate their milestone man.

Cats rookie Clark (57) has been a great surprise packet, while GWS duo Green (36) and Whitfield (35) are set to score below 100 once again in worrying signs for SuperCoaches.

Ollie Dempsey, who remains in 11% of teams, sits on only 5 points.

HT SuperCoach Scores: Geelong v GWS
HT SuperCoach Scores: Geelong v GWS

5.38PM: CONIGLIO OUT

After a hot start, Coniglio’s shoulder issue has got the better of him and he’s out for the day - replaced by Toby McMullin.

He has 47 SuperCoach points in only 35 minutes of game time, but is owned by only 960 coaches.

5.36PM: RICCARDI FROM THE CENTRE

Riccardi has kicked an incredible goal from the centre square - he now has three and 67 SuperCoach points.

The GWS midfield and dominating Geelong, with 11 centre clearances to four.

They have now kicked seven goals this term, with 14 inside 50s to three.

The tsunami is back, and their talls are firing.

5.33PM: SHARING THE LOAD

GWS now have five goalkickers while the Cats have six - with Riccardi the only multiple goal scorer. This means the forwards will be sharing the SuperCoach points for now.

5.20PM: GIANTS HIT THE LEAD

The GIANTS have had the last six scoring shots, with seven inside 50s so far this quarter.

Jesse Hogan has lifted, resulting in 31 points to his name, while Green has also lifted to 26 after a slower start than expected.

QT SuperCoach Update:

Despite playing through a shoulder concern, Coniglio has had a huge first quarter to lead for the GIANTS, while Green has had a slow start.

Rookie Harvey Thomas has failed to fire, but often works his way into the game across all quarters.

Zach Guthrie (40) leads, and is in only 2,025 of teams, while Jhye Clark is getting busy - a promising sign for coaches who have held him ... unless it’s just me.

QT SuperCoach Scores: Geelong v GWS
QT SuperCoach Scores: Geelong v GWS

5.07PM: A HAWKINS SPECIAL

In his milestone game, Hawkins has not only slotted a goal already but attempted to share the celebrations with late dropped mark to Shannon Neale spoiling his chances of a score involvement.

Selflessness has been a theme of his famed career - and today is no different.

Coniglio is back on the ground after an early injury scare.

5.03PM: AT HOLMES

Max Holmes looks right at home off half back, and is currently sitting on 28 SuperCoach points - and is also taking kick-ins.

With a goal to his name already, he’s boasting a three round average of 103.6 and sits at only $523,700.

Five straight goals to the Cats has seen them gain the ascendency early, lacking the inaccuracy which was a theme across the first two games of the day.

4.50pm: GWS MID OFF WITH AN INJURY

Stephen Coniglio has come off 10 minutes into the Giant’s clash with the Cats.

Cogs had one arm basically dead in the middle of the ground, and still managed to dispose of the ball when it came his way but immediately went to the bench. He’s getting a mountain of tape wrapped around it and looks like he might come back on.

Toby McMullin is the GWS sub.

Zach Tuohy has launched a long bomb from beyond 50 to put his side four points up.

Former Giant Tanner Bruhn has kicked the first goal against his old side.

4.20pm: LARKEY ENDS STREAK AS POWER NOTCH 10-GOAL WIN

Port Adelaide has proven too good for North Melbourne with a 10-goal win in Hobart.

Zac Fisher rewarded those who took the punt on him with 112, while Harry Sheezel (118), Tristan Xerri (116), and Tom Powell (88) scored well on an otherwise bleak day for the Roos.

The game also ended Nick Larkey’s run of 29 games of at least one goal.

Zak Buitters (111), Ollie Wines (125), Jason Horne-Francis (99) and Jordan Sweet (74) shared in the spoils for the victors, while owners of Dan Houston (77) and Connor Rozee (41) would be disappointed.

Meanwhile the Blues recorded a 39-point win over the Suns, with Patrick Cripps (13) and Sam Walsh (114) leading the way for Carlton, with four goals and 97 SuperCoach points from Zac Williams.

Jarrod Witts (124) was the only Sun to ton up in SuperCoach, with Touk Muller (94), Matt Rowell (94), and Noah Anderson (51) disappointing for owners.

Cheaper options in Alex Sexton (87) and Sam Clohesy (71) had decent days at the office.

4.15pm: HUMPHREY SINKS ONE FROM THE PAINT

Bailey Humphrey has provided a rare highlight from the last half-hour, sinking a miraculous goal from the boundary.

A minute late Cam Zurhaar kicked one from 60m which dribbled through an open goalsquare.

4pm: NOT MUCH DOING

Not gonna lie, there’s not much keeping the interest going in these two games. Neither score leader is putting their opponents to the sword.

Zac Williams has his fourth and the Suns are now out of this game at Docklands, while the Roos haven’t looked in it since the half in Hobart.

Fisher and Sheezel have tonned up, with LDU not far behind.

Toby McMullin and Jack Bowes are the subs in Geelong, too.

3.50pm: FINAL CHANGE FOR OPENING TWO GAMES

Carlton has extended its lead back to 17 points at the final change at Docklands thanks to a Matt Kennedy snap from the pocket. Jarrod Witts and Tom De Koning are the two highest-scoring players on the ground.

Patrick Cripps is the other triple-figure SuperCoach-scoring player on the ground, and he was just cleaned up by an umpire, copping a stray elbow from an official calling play on as he ran past.

He appears to be fine, however, with 26 touches and six tackles to his name. Matt Rowell and Touk Miller have lifted to 75 points.

Zac Fisher has had 20 kicks for the Roos. Picture: Steve Bell/Getty Images.
Zac Fisher has had 20 kicks for the Roos. Picture: Steve Bell/Getty Images.

Noah Anderson is still having a stinker, with George Hewett locking down on the young gun.

In Hobart, Harry Sheezel and Zac Fisher are snaffling up possessions and SuperCoach points alongside Tristan Xerri, but it’s about the only thing going well for the Roos.

The Power is 53 points up, with Travis Boak, Ollie Wines and Zak Butters leading the way alongside Todd Marshall’s four goals.

3.35pm: DUURSMA SUBBED OUT

Zane Duursma has been subbed out by North Melbourne after three touches and one goal.

Meanwhile Darcy Bryne-Jones kicked another thriller after Mitch Georgiades kept the ball in with a big spoil back into play, allowing Byrne-Jones to snap from the boundary.

Meanwhile Big Charlie has just outmarked two Suns to kick a goal, maintaining a three-goal lead over Gold Coast.

Jed Walter has also been subbed out for the Suns after one pick and one mark for the day. Jake Rogers into the game.

3.25pm: CONCERNS FOR ROOS

North Melbourne has been blown out of the water to start the second half, with 4.1 to two behinds.

Harry Sheezel is down back taking a kick out, but the Power mids have been too strong after the main break, although Horne-Francis has only had two touches for the quarter after Liam Shiels went to him.

Todd Marshall has four goals on young Wil Dawson.

At Marvel, Zac Williams has three goals to reward those who still have him.

3.10pm: BACK UNDER WAY

Zak Butters has been released from the Liam Shiels tag, with the former Hawk going straight to Jason Horne-Francis.

3pm: HALF TIME CHECK-IN

The story from these two games so far is Jason Horne-Francis tearing up his old side in the second quarter, and getting very lippy in the process.

He kicked the last goal of the term and let everyone in blue and white know about it, with eight clearances, 13 touches and eight contested possessions (plus said goal and 64 SuperCoach points) to his name at the main break.

Anyone concerned by Zac Fisher’s slow start should feel relieved, with the league’s chief seagull on 59 at the main break in a prime Aaron Hall role. Harry Sheezel is on 58, putting to bed any doubts about his scoring ability as a midfielder.

At Docklands, few popular picks are scoring well, with Patrick Cripps’ 71 and Touk Miller’s 53 the main noticeable ones.

Sam Clohesy is on 30, Jake Rogers is still in the green sub vest, and Noah Anderson is having a stinker.

2.45pm: BOAK TURNS BACK THE CLOCK

Travis Boak looks to be turning back the clock for the Power, with the midfielder up to 70 SuperCoach points with seven minutes left in the first half.

He’s currently just less than $390,000 coming off a 94 and a 91 and looks to be playing a mix of wing and midfield. Anyone brave enough to jump on?

Zak Butters is being clamped down on my Liam Shiels, too, with just five possessions to his name.

Willie Rioli has been subbed off with a calf injury without touching it in the first quarter, while Todd Marshall is coming back on after a niggle. Lachie Jones has come on as the sub.

2.30pm: LOVE FOR THE BACKFLIP

Lloyd Johnston’s backflip is celebration of the year, bar none.

And after capturing Jamie Elliott on Anzac Day, Michael Klein has done it again snapping the Suns’ youngster’s incredible celebration.

2.20pm: TOP SUPERCOACH SCORERS

Harry Sheezel has started on fire, with 43 SuperCoach points for the Roos, with Tom Powell having 28 at quarter time and LDU 22.

Zac Fisher is on 20 despite having very little of the ball, while Zak Butters has 34 points thank to two goals. Travis Boak leads all-comers with 53.

At Docklands, Tom De Koning has 43 points and Sam Walsh 33, while surprise downgrade David Swallow is rewarding those who took the punt with 26 in the first term.

Alex Sexton has 23 points, Matt Rowell 17, Noah Anderson 13 and Sam Clohesy 15.

2.10pm: SHEEZ THE MAN AS SUNS FLIP MOMENTUM

Anyone who was worried about Harry Sheezel as a midfielder will have had those fears allayed by now. The North young gun is on track for a 50 point first quarter with a goal, four kicks, three marks and a tackle, while Zak Butters has kicked his second goal.

The Suns, meanwhile, have two goals on the board as the momentum shifts at Docklands, with Lloyd Johnson pulling out a backflip! celebration after kicking the Suns’ second goal.

2pm: SUNS (FINALLY) HIT SCOREBOARD

It’s only a behind though, with the Blues having had the ball about every time I’ve had eyes on the game at Marvel in what looks like a smashing. Sam Walsh doing some damage in an attempt to atone for last week’s quiet game after some very close attention from James Jordon.

North Melbourne is flying the flag in Tassie, taking a two-point lead with less than 10 minutes left to go after a Harry Sheezel goal (he’s on 33 SuperCoach points already).

We’re really starting to see some signs for the Roos, with a win surely not far off.

1.52pm: BUTTERS TOO GOOD

Zak Butters has come off the bench and within 10 seconds of live play has a goal after streaming out of the middle and splitting the big sticks.

Alex Sexton looks to have kick out duties for the Suns, too.

1.50pm: BLUES, POWER ON THE BOARD

Zac Williams – playing up forward, it seems – has kicked the Blues’ first goal, while Kane Farrell has been given a 50m penalty and slammed home the Power’s first.

Zak Butters has started on the bench for the Power.

Zac Fisher has started well for SuperCoaches who brought him in, with 12 points early.

We’ve had the first bounce in two games, with Carlton taking on the Blues in Melbourne at Docklands and the Roos hosting the Power in Hobart.

Powell and LDU starting in the middle for the Roos alongside Harry Sheezel in a jumper clash, with both teams in lighter, white jumpers, with Connor Rozee with a slight limp after the first bounce.

1.30pm: THANK GOODNESS FOR JOE RICHARDS

Many SuperCoaches would have brought in Joe Richards this week, and if you left him on the bench with the E on him, you’re in luck – you’ll get those three figures onfield.

Well, most people...

Some of us, however, will be stuck with Sam Darcy’s mediocre 42.

On the game, FoxFooty has just spoken to Michael Voss who’s given some good news for Harry McKay owners.

“Harry will spend some time in the ruck and we feel like that was his best footy he’s played this year is up there,” he said.

Big H up the ground is good news for getting his hands on the ball.

It’s also good news for people who brought in Alex Sexton, who might see more kick-outs and ball in hand with Flanders missing.

Can Sweet keep returning Soldo at bay?

The good news for SuperCoach teams? Jordon Sweet is back.

The bad news? So is Ivan Soldo.

SuperCoaches will be hoping Sweet puts in an undeniable case to stay as Port Adelaide’s No.1 ruckman when he takes on Tristan Xerri in Hobart on Saturday.

Sweet has been named to return from illness after missing the past two matches.

He was initially ruled out of the Power’s clash with Geelong in round 9 and was then overlooked in favour of Dante Visentini in round 10.

Ivan Soldo — who started the season as Port’s No.1 ruckman — is set to return from an injury lay-off in the SANFL this weekend, putting pressure on Sweet to hold his spot.

More than 65,000 teams will be sweating on Sweet’s battle with Tristan Xerri, hopeful he can keep Soldo out of the team and continue his mid-season cash surge.
