DAYNE Beams will play at Brisbane next year, according to the club.
The Lions today rubbished a potential trade of Beams to Collingwood.
It is understood speculation can be traced back to Fremantle, which is in trade talks with the Lions over ball magnet Lachie Neale.

The Dockers want to obtain two first-round picks for Neale and if the Lions released Beams to the Magpies that would likely armed them with pick No.18.
That would allow the Lions to trade picks No.5 and 18 to the Dockers for Neale.
The Lions today laughed at the suggestion Beams, 28, was on the way out.
The Herald Sun understands Beams has not asked for a trade and that his manager Paul Connors will not be asking for a trade on his client’s behalf.
A month ago Beams and the Lions had an honest chat about the potential for a fair trade but agreed if it didn’t eventuate the star midfielder would happily remain at the Gabba.
Lions coach Chris Fagan said today he was not aware of any trade scenario for his All-Australian.
Beams was with Fagan on Saturday and did not discuss leaving the Lions.
