COLLINGWOOD fans, eat your hearts out.

Richmond’s dream injury run is continuing, with the Tigers on track to have every one of their best 22 available for AFL selection next week. The premier’s injury list has been slashed this week, with premiership quartet Dion Prestia (ribs), Nathan Broad (calf soreness), Bachar Houli (groin) and Jack Graham (shoulder) all selected to face Gold Coast on Saturday. The Tigers have this week left out ruckman Toby Nankervis, citing a corked quad, including Ivan Soldo for his first game this season. After a 96-point hiding from Melbourne last week, the Suns have also swung the changes. Captain Steven May returns from a one-week suspension while David Swallow is fit after also missing last week. Jesse Joyce, Ben Ainsworth, Brayden Crossley and Jarryd Lyons are all in. Peter Wright is out with a knee injury while Jacob Heron, Jesse Lonergan, Jacob Dawson, Sean Lemmens and Max Spencer are also out. On Sunday, Shaun Higgins’ North Melbourne return was confirmed after missing just one match following knee surgery. The star midfielder faces his former club Western Bulldogs, who have replaced Roarke Smith with Billy Gowers. There’s also good news for Sydney with Dan Hannebery making his long-awaited return from injury, at Dan Robinson’s expense. Melbourne has made two changes with Cam Pedersen and Jayden Hunt coming in for Joel Smith (shoulder) and Bernie Vince. Demons coach Simon Goodwin is adamant star big man Max Gawn will play on Sunday after the Brownlow Medal fancy sat out training on Thursday. Gawn, 26, only walked laps at training before embarking on a few jogs. He had been spotted sporting support on his calf on Wednesday, but his coach is adamant that he is simply having “a light week”. “He’s obviously had a big load throughout the year,” Goodwin said. FOOTY TIPS: COULD CATS LOSE TO HAWTHORN? FORMGUIDE: SUPERCOACH TRADE, CAPTAIN TIPS “Really, it’s just been about managing him through. His plan this week is to train Saturday and he’s under no doubt that he’ll be playing this week.” The news isn’t as good for Michael Hibberd (quad) and Jake Melksham (hamstring) with the duo ruled out from returning on Sunday against Sydney. Essendon, after its heart-breaking loss to Hawthorn, will go in unchanged for its Friday night clash with St Kilda. However, St Kilda has swung the axe after its disappointing loss to the Western Bulldogs. Young defender-midfielder Ben Paton has been handed his AFL debut with Rowan Marshall, Lewis Pierce, Ben Long and Bailey Rice all recalled. Youngsters Nick Coffield and Hunter Clark are out along with Luke Dunstan while Tom Hickey and Josh Battle are injured. For Saturday’s MCG blockbuster Geelong has gained a huge boost with star defender Tom Stewart and ruckman Rhys Stanley back. James Parsons, Quinton Narkle and Mark O’Connor have also been recalled with Jed Bews (shoulder), Jackson Thurlow, Jamaine Jones, Ryan Abbott and Jordan Cunico out. Hawthorn has made just the change with Irishman Conor Nash to make his AFL debut, with Brendon Whitecross to miss through illness. Perfect 9 promo 728x90 Greater Western Sydney’s injury crisis has been softened with star midfielders Dylan Shiel, Tim Taranto and Ryan Griffen all back, along with Sam Reid. It’s timely after the Giants’ lost Brett Deledio, Dawson Simpson, Sam Taylor and Toby Greene in last week’s 100-point win over Carlton. And in one of the games of the round PORT ADELAIDE has made a stunning selection call, axing Jack Hombsch and Sam Powell-Pepper for its clash against West Coast. Dougal Howard, Sam Gray and Aidyn Johnson have been recalled. WEST COAST will be without Andrew Gaff following his eight-game suspension while defender Will Schofield has a hamstring injury.
