The Western Australian rivalry still runs deep for star midfielder Lachie Neale, despite crossing from Fremantle to Brisbane at the end of 2018.
Neale recorded a cheeky video directed at his former arch-rivals West Coast, offering up one of his three Glendinning–Allan Medals – awarded to the player adjudged best on ground in the Western Derby – as an E-Sports prize.
Young Eagles Oscar Allen and Jake Waterman are set to compete in The Lockdown League Grand Final, a FIFA 20 tournament featuring AFL players.
Neale has a fantastic record against his old enemy, awarded the Western Derby best on ground medal in in 2014, 2015 and 2018.
Tongue held firmly in cheek, Neale was more than happy to hand over one of his medals given he has “a few of them laying around”

“I’d like to congratulate the two West coast boys on making the Grand Final, huge achievement,” Neale said.
“Not sure what they’ve got in store for you guys as a prize, but I thought I’d offer up one of these …. I’ve got a few of them laying around.
“Doubt you’d ever see one otherwise – Glendinning Medal up for grabs.”
