WOODVILLE-WEST Torrens has signed dual Ken Farmer Medallist Michael Wundke and Central District premiership midfielder James Boyd.
WOODVILLE-WEST Torrens has signed dual Ken Farmer Medallist Michael Wundke and Central District premiership midfielder James Boyd.
Wundke, 25, had been out of contract after booting 180 goals for South Adelaide from 2011-13.
He will reunite with former Panthers teammate Andrew Ainger, who booted 50 goals for the Eagles this year.
Boyd, 24, was cut by the Bulldogs last month despite finishing runner-up in the club's best and fairest this past
season.
He has played 110 SANFL games, finished second in the 2008 Magarey Medal and polled the most votes in the 2012 medal but was ineligible due to suspension.
Eagles coach Michael Godden said Wundke would strengthen the club's forward line alongside Ainger and Adam Grocke.
Godden said Boyd's experience and work ethic would help rejuvenate the club's midfield.
Wundke and Boyd were both named in the The Advertiser SANFL Team of the Year for 2013.
