NORWOOD'S James Aish and North Adelaide's Nathan Gordon returned from the AFL draft camp in Melbourne to train with their grand final teams at AAMI Stadium on Wednesday night.
The pair were among 20 Croweaters at Etihad Stadium this week where they underwent physical and fitness testing and were interviewed by AFL clubs.
SA's best performers over the 20m sprint on Wednesday were Port Adelaide's Sean Lemmens, who ran 2.95 seconds, and Dwayne Wilson from Sturt, who clocked 3 seconds to be in the top 25 per cent.
But nine of the 20 South Australians at the national draft combine sat out testing due to injuries or grand final commitments this weekend.
One SA youngster who declined an invitation to attend altogether was Central District's Josh Glenn, but he may attend the state screening in Adelaide this month.
The draft camp continues with a skills and beep test on Thursday and finishes with a 3km time trial on Friday.
