WEST Adelaide will inject two experienced players into its line-up as it prepares to take on arguably the best side outside the AFL in tomorrow's Foxtel Cup semi-final at AAMI Stadium.
Key forward Michael Still and 2009 Magarey Medallist James Ezard will face reigning WAFL and Foxtel Cup champion Claremont, after proving their fitness.
The duo did not play in Saturday's strong SANFL win over Woodville-West Torrens at Richmond due to niggling
concerns but provide a timely boost as the Bloods prepare for their second game in 72 hours.
The prize on the end of the match is entry into the state league competition's final against East Fremantle, and a shot a $100,000 prize purse the financially troubled Bloods could desperately use.
Ezard has shaken off a shoulder injury, while Still, who has kicked 12 goals in four SANFL games this year, has recovered from a virus.
Versatile swingman Tyson Slattery is also aiming to prove he has recovered from sickness but Scott Bricknell, who was missing on Saturday, has already been ruled out as he battles to overcome a corked thigh.
"We'll inject a couple players that just didn't quite come up for Saturday," Bloods coach Andrew Collins said.
"They should be cherry ripe for Claremont."
The match-up will see Collins pitted against a man he used to coach while in charge of VFL club Sandringham Claremont mentor Marc Webb.
It also offers West Adelaide a shot at redemption after the 101 point thumping Claremont handed it in last year's competition.
"I certainly think they have a fair claim to be the best side in Australia outside of the AFL," Collins said.
"So in that sense it presents a wonderful challenge for us ... He (Webb) is a wonderful leader, you only have to look at what he achieved last year as a first year coach last year."
The Bloods escaped Saturday's clash without any injuries and have named a 25 man squad for tonight.
Collins said he had left it up to veteran captain Ryan Ferguson to decide whether he would play tonight.
