WEST Adelaide’s games record holder Grantley Fielke has been voted the club’s greatest player of all time.
WEST Adelaide’s games record holder Grantley Fielke has been voted the club’s greatest player of all time.
A premiership player with the Bloods in 1983 and the 1985 Magarey Medallist, Fielke polled 64 per cent of the vote.
Neil Kerley gained 19 per cent while Richard Head was third in the voting.
Fielke played 364 league games for the Bloods as well as 16 for Collingwood and 24 for Adelaide.
The midfielder won the club best and fairest award in 1980 and was captain for three seasons. He also made eight state of origin appearances.
