STURT wingman Matt Crocker, who goes about his work without fuss, will achieve the 100-game milestone against North Adelaide.

Don't miss out on the headlines from Sturt. Followed categories will be added to My News.
DISCUSS Sturt’s line-up and guns such as Zane Kirkwood, Aidan Riley and James Battersby are quickly mentioned.
Then there are defenders Jack Stephens and Fraser Evans, the past two Jack Oatey Medallists for best-on-ground performances in the grand final triumphs.
But there is much more substance to the Double Blues. Matt Crocker started his career with the club in defence, only to be moved onto the wing where he has established himself as a key component of the side without fanfare. That quiet achiever type.
“I’m most comfortable on the wing, it suits my style,” he said. “Fitness is my go-to, I’m not a natural footballer but fitness holds me in good stead.
“We are spoiled for choice with those blokes in the midfield and I just play my role. You play team sport to enjoy team success.”
Crocker will make his 100th league appearance for the Double Blues in the clash against North Adelaide at Unley Oval on Sunday. He started playing for the club in the under 18s in 2010 before being promoted to the reserves late in the season.
His league debut was against the Roosters in round 14, 2011.
A special occasion and a milestone to celebrate is how Crocket describes his century achievement.
“It’s great to have moments like the preliminary final last year,” he said. “Everything fell into place and I got more of the ball, it was probably my best game.
“I enjoy the hard work to do a job for the team.”
