SOUTH Adelaide has secured former Richmond rookie Ben Darrou for next season.
The key defender has been on the Tigers’ list for the past three years after being drafted from the Sandringham Dragons.
Darrou played in the 2011 TAC Cup premiership with fellow Panthers Brede Seccull and Lachlan Boyd.
“Ben is a very impressive young man and will provide a real strong presence to our defence,” Panthers football general manager Neill Sharpe said.
“He is competitive one-on-one and as his footy has progressed has been able to find plenty of the ball at VFL level.”
