Norwood will field its strongest side in weeks when it takes on Glenelg in the SANFL

Norwood named its strongest team in many weeks for the clash against Glenelg at the Bay on Sunday after regaining more key personnel.

Captain Jace Bode and Declan Hamilton were named in a 25-man squad after overcoming injuries, while Dylan Stephens and Cameron Taheny will get more opportunities to test themselves at league level following state under 18 commitments.

Josh Scott is back in the Tigers’ line-up after having issues with the arm he broke in April. Youngster Will Gould has also been included in an extended squad.

Sturt ruckman Tom Read is set to make his first league appearance since round 3 after being named in a 23-man squad for the battle against Central District at Elizabeth Oval on Saturday.

Read returned to action in the reserves against South Adelaide last week after overcoming deep vein thrombosis.

Bulldogs coach Roy Laird reacted to last week’s poor performance against North Adelaide by sending three players back to the reserves.
