NORTH Adelaide’s Mark Quinn has had surgery to repair a fractured cheekbone after being injured in the impressive victory over Norwood last weekend.
Quinn had a plate inserted in the cheek on Saturday and his immediate future is unknown.
Roosters veteran Leigh Ryswyk is also sidelined, starting with the contest against Woodville-West Torrens at Woodville Oval on Sunday, after tests on Tuesday revealed he had glandular fever.
“Leigh has missed some games because of a hamstring injury and he was on a modified program,” Roosters football manager Darryl Wintle said. “When he started full training he felt flat.”
Connor Rozee, an AIS Academy member this year, will make his league debut for the Roosters against the competition pacesetters.
The 18-year old utility has been playing in defence in the reserves, but is expected to get game time in attack.
“The Eagles are the benchmark of the competition and year in, year out they keep producing,” Wintle said.
“It will be a good challenge down there.”
The Roosters are coming off three successive wins, the latest a 44-point belting of the Redlegs.
The Eagles were also impressive last week, beating Glenelg by 61 points.
