Glenelg coach Mark Stone has backed the fitness of Josh Scott and Carl Nicholson and named them in an extended squad for the second semi-final clash against Port Adelaide at Adelaide Oval on Sunday.
The pair has missed plenty of football this season because of injury, but Stone claimed they were right to go after training well at Adelaide Oval on Monday night.
Scott was named at centre half forward, while Nicholson is on an extended bench.
The Tigers named a 25-man squad and will trim that to 23 after training on Friday night. The final 21 will be confirmed on game day.
Aidyn Johnson was named on the half back line for Port, having been unavailable for the qualifying final win over Adelaide because of suspension.
Norwood coach Jarrod Cotton has shown faith in the 21 who got the job done against Sturt in the elimination final and opted for an unchanged line-up to take on the Crows in the first semi-final.

It will be speedster Ed Smart’s 100 league game for the Redlegs.
“The milestone probably does not mean as much as the significance of the game itself,” said Smart, who played in the 2012 and 2014 premierships.
The Crows regained Kieran Strachan, Paul Hunter and Jordon Butts.
