ROSTREVOR Old Collegians has firmed as outright flag favourites on the back of their 50-point

win over Tea Tree Gully.

Michael Coad has appreciated a move up forward and responded with another seven goals in a best on ground display.

He was well supported by Braden Allen who is finding some career-best form.

This week ROC heads to St. Peters, which fell to Adelaide Uni by 35 points in a low-scoring affair.

James Duncan continued his good form and was best for the Saints.

I expect this game to be a lot closer than what you might expect from a first vs ninth clash but ROC will be too strong.

Port Districts has moved into third spot thanks to a character building 14-point win over Goodwood with Major Lienert the star performer.

They face Modbury, which fell in the battle of the Hawks against Salisbury North, this weekend. Matty Gibson continues to stand out with another five goals for Modbury.

Having worked so hard to climb the ladder and claim third spot I can not see the Magpies letting this game slip at home.

PNU continue to slay the giants – this time knocking off reigning premiers Prince Alfred Old Collegians at Park 9 by 13 points.

Electric small forward Strato Agorastos stole the show with eight goals while Matty Nye was best around the contest.

They Falcons face the team who it drew with earlier in the season, Goodwood.

The Saints’ two-goal loss was through no fault of tireless Jack Carter.

That loss saw Goodwood drop out of the five.

I’m tipping the Falcons to take their third big scalp in a row.

Tea Tree Gully fell away badly in the third quarter against Rostrevor, conceding seven goals to nil, which ultimately resulted in an eight-goal loss.

Nickolas Thomson was best for Gullies in a rare game where their midfield had their colours lowered.

They take on PAOC also coming off a loss to PNU through no fault of Jake Pitt, who continues his stellar season with another six goals on the weekend.

I think the Reds might make it back-to-back losses for the Gullies in a game that could go either

way.

Salisbury North had a good five-goal win over Modbury.

Hawks wins are normally punctuated by Michael Clinch being amongst the best.

They host Adelaide Uni.

The Paynter boys Will and Seb stood out for the Blacks.

I sniff an upset in this one and think the Hawks can keep their hopes of avoiding relegation alive.
