GOLDEN Grove’s new-found form will be put to the test when it hosts top side Brighton on

Saturday in their Bank SA division three clash.

When the sides met at Brighton earlier in the season the Bombers were far too strong at home

to win by 107 points.

Brighton’s form has stayed near that level most weeks but the Kookaburras have stormed up the ladder to sit fourth.

Last week Golden Grove beat Portland in a thriller by two points with Jake Pitman, Shane Scudds and Ben Bamford among the side’s best.

Brighton crushed Walkerville at home by 118 points with Joshua Spurling, Sam Kennedy

(six goals), Scott Hunt and Jack Juniper (seven goals) starring.

Brighton should win again and while it looks a safe bet it won’t be anywhere near last time’s margin, 28-40 points is my tip.

Flinders Park looks too settled for Mitcham when they meet at Flinders Park.

The Reds are third and last week led all day to beat SMOSH West Lakes by 24 points.

Andrew Ainger (eight goals), Ben George and Mitchell Harvey led the way.

Mitcham is struggling to match most sides, last week falling to Westminster Old Scholars by 38 points.

Brett Aitken, Matt Joraslafsky and Adam Vonow were among the best.

The Reds here by 44-62 points.

Seaton Ramblers looks to have the depth to cover Portland when the teams meet at Pedlar Reserve.

The second-placed Rams beat Plympton by 49 points last week with Callan Annett, Michael Parker, Luke Rochester and Brett Harland (eight goals) leading the way.

Portland‘s best against Golden Grove included Corey Evans, Matt Roe and Jarrod Wareing (five goals).

The Rams to pounce by 32-48 points.

Westminster Old Scholars looks too settled for Walkerville in their match at Glandore.

The Dragons finished well to beat Mitcham last week by 38 points with Shane Birss, Jack Hoad and Mark Rusby starring.

Walkerville’s best against Brighton included Sean Kuerschner, Adam Law

and Dustin Fromm.

The Dragons to win by 28-46 points.

SMOSH West Lakes hosts Plympton, taking in solid form although still yet to win.

The Lions pushed Flinders Park before losing by 24 points with Lyndon Parham, William Kwan, James Watt and Cohen Mattner (five goals) all solid.

Plympton has dropped off a little in recent weeks, last week falling to Seaton Ramblers by 49 points.

Kieren Nelson, Jake Ferraro and Johnny Pegoraro were strong.

The Bulldogs to get up by 20-38 points.
