PULTENEY has continue to take all that comes before them.

Its most recent victim was the previously undefeated West Croydon but Pulteney was too strong, recording a solid 38-point win in a high scoring affair.

Another five goals has dangerous Dan Nicholson’s haul over the past month reach 17 majors. Chris Sampson joined the list of Pulteney stars having an impact.

This week it faces an Ingle Farm team which has hit a huge roadblock and cannot seem to string four quarters together.

The Bulldogs fell victim to Fitzroy despite a good game from Simon Phillis.

It would be a huge upset if the Dogs could pinch this one.

This division’s other undefeated team, Elizabeth, had a good 12-goal win over Mawson Lakes.

This weeks the Eagles head to Fawk Reserve off Hanson Rd and will be hoping for a happy ending when they battle West Croydon.

In a match truly fitting the title of match of the round the Hawks need to win to stop the top two from creatingspace from the rest of the table.

Winless Houghton again battled manfully but went down to Brahma Lodge by a narrow margin. Bryant Korner and Jordan Salerno have found form and offer great hope that the Raiders will open their account sometime soon.

This week they host Trinity coming off a good win over Salisbury West.

Mark Williams was outstanding for the Lions.

The Raiders will cause a huge boil over this week and find a way to get the job done.

They have been working hard and building and their best team game will reward a group that has stuck together through some tough times.

Mawson Lakes have not had a lot to cheer about since round one but Bradley Cousins’s form would certainly please the locals.

Lakes host Brahma Lodge, which had a win last week thanks mainly to the competitions leading goal kicker Darrell Mcintyre, who bagged eight majors.

Brahma should win and win well.

Fitzroy was irrepressible in its second quarter last week kicking eight goals.

The Lions will head to Salisbury West to try and make it three wins in a row.

Chris Beaty is having a really consistent year for the Roys and I think they will be too strong for the Tigers who are finding the going a lot tougher in division six.
