KILBURN will be aiming to reverse its minor round fortunes against Gepps Cross when the sides clash in the division four elimination final on Saturday.

The Chics and Rams will face off in a sudden-death final at Blair Athol Reserve after Kilburn earned hosting rights with a thumping 88-point win over Smithfield on the weekend.

Gepps, which overcame Hectorville by nine points, will be aiming to inflict more pain on the Chics.

The Rams won both encounters during the minor round, including a three-point win at Saturday’s venue in their most recent clash as Kilburn squandered chances in front of goal in the final term.

Gepps prevailed by 43 points earlier in the season.

The winner will advance to a semi-final against the loser of Saturday’s qualifying final between Morphettville Park and Eastern Park at Kellett Reserve.

The Roos will host the Demons on the back of a 16-point loss to Salisbury at home.

Sam Barnett was best for Morphies as their six-game winning streak came to and end.

Eastern – which lost to minor premiers North Haven in the final round – fell short of the Roos a fortnight ago.

After managing 0.11 in the opening half the Demons raced home, kicking six goals to one in the final quarter as the Roos held on by a point.

Eastern won the previous encounter at Kellett Reserve by two goals.

A crack at minor premier North Haven is the prize on Saturday.

The Magpies finished the regular season with a 17-point win against Eastern.

Tom Lipson kicked six goals for North to take his season tally to 75 – four short of Demon Shawn Mansell.

Mansell booted seven goals in a fascinating duel with Lipson at Largs North Reserve.

The Magpies will enjoy a break during the opening round of the finals before attempting to win straight through to the 2017 ALDI Division 4 decider.

Salisbury, Edwardstown, Colonel Light Gardens and relegated Hectorville and Smithfield all missed thefinals.
