Neither Jonathan Brown and Campbell Brown took a backward step on the field. Now they are joining forces in footy’s new must-listen podcast.

Brisbane champion Jonathan Brown has a history of trading blows on the footy field with Campbell Brown.
Now the pair will be trading verbal jabs on the brand new Browny’s Podcast — an exciting new weekly offering that launches this week.
The knockabout pair will come together every Wednesday and trade barbs over the current happenings in footy — as well as engaging in some friendly banter.
“Browny (Campbell) was one of those smaller defenders who I’d try and swat away when I was out there,” the triple-premiership Lion said on Tuesday.
“He was always trying to bat with the big boys and he did pretty good job, mind you.
“He gave out plenty of lip, he was handy with the lip.”
Both Browns are renowned story tellers and have plenty of anecdotes to share about their own experiences in the sport.
“Browny’s a great story teller and obviously a premiership player (at Hawthorn) and has plenty of experience in footy, and he’s not afraid to be controversial at times,” Jonathan Brown said.
“We’ll slip a few Mal Brown (Campbell’s father) stories in there, he’s obviously a bit of a cult figure.”
Jonathan Brown played 256 games for Brisbane, winning three premierships, the 2007 Coleman medal and receiving All-Australian honours in 2007 and 2009.
Campbell Brown played 205 AFL games, was part of the 2008 premiership run with the Hawks and was also an All-Australian in 2007. He played 46 games for Gold Coast between 2011 and 2013.
The duo will also share their own opinions and tips on KFC SuperCoach, which should be taken with a grain of salt, according to the Lions legend.
“It’s probably throwing me and Browny under the bus, to be honest … so we’ll have a bit of a different take,” he said.
