McGuinness damaged his arm in the win over West Adelaide on Saturday and had expected to miss at least this week's round.

But he is being given every chance to prove his fitness and will face a test before the Redlegs make a decision on whether he plays.

"The injury has healed well and he is a chance to play,'' Norwood football manager Mark Ross said.

The Redlegs added Kane Murphy and Kristian Roocke to the 21 who overcame the Bloods.

The Magpies named exciting Power youngster Jake Neade, Aseri Raikiwasa and James Brain in an extended squad and lost Justin Hoskin to a shoulder problem.

KEY forward Alan Obst will return to the Central District line-up to front North Adelaide at Elizabeth on Saturday after completing a four-game suspension.

Scott Dutschke, Sam Milne and Matthew Prior are also in a 23-man squad while Jake Martin and Josh Vater were omitted.

The Roosters attack was dealt a blow after Lewis Johnston was summoned to the Crows while ruckman Justin Schahinger was omitted.

Joe Anderson, James Craig, Daniel Stewart and Matthew Westhoff are the options to come into the side.

WEST Adelaide regained key personnel for the Richmond battle against Sturt on Saturday after Adam Hartlett, Aaron Fielke, Scott Bricknell and Michael Still were included in a 23-man squad.

Ryan Anderson was ruled out with a leg injury and Peter Nelson was sent back to the reserves.

The Double Blues could not name Sam Kerridge after he was included in an extended Crows team and Fraser Evans was ruled out with a shoulder issue.

Sam Smith, Matthew Crocker, Jack Stephens and Richard Tambling are in the 23-man squad.

CAMERON Hitchcock has been called up to the Power but is still a chance to be in the Glenelg line-up to face Woodville-West Torrens at Brighton Rd on Saturday.

Sam Underwood and Riley Milne were named in a 22-man squad.

The Eagles were forced to overhaul their side after losing Campbell Heath (Power), Jared Petrenko (Crows), Luke Thompson (ankle) and suspended pair Scott Lewis and Byron Sumner. Caleb Lloyd was omitted.

There is plenty of youth among the six players listed as the ins following the promotion of Matthew Appleton, Luke Dunstan, Tom Schwarz and Jake von Bertouch.

Aaron Day and Lee Staple are also back in the league side.
