FORMER state footballer Stephen Connelly has died, aged 50.
FORMER state footballer Stephen Connelly has died, aged 50.
A salesman with The Advertiser, Connelly played for South Australia against Victoria and Western Australia in 1985.
He made his league debut for Central District two years earlier and played 92 games in the SANFL - 69 for the Bulldogs, 21 for Norwood and one for South Adelaide.
The Bulldogs recruited Connelly from Gawler Central Football Club in 1980.
