CHASING THE MONEY

THE Bulldogs are coming off a five-point win over Gold Coast while Richmond is coming off a 12-point loss to GWS.

WESTERN Bulldogs have won their past two games and five of their past six matches overall.

BEFORE last round, Richmond had won three consecutive matches.

THE Bulldogs scored a 47-point win when these sides last met in Round 7 last year, with Aaron Naughton booting five goals.

THE Bulldogs have won five of their past six matches against Richmond overall dating back to Round 3, 2014.

RICHMOND won its sole game at Metricon Stadium this season, while the Bulldogs have a 2-1 record at the ground this year.

THE Tigers rank third for total inside-50s this season while the Bulldogs rank eighth.

RICHMOND has scored two less points than the Bulldogs from their eight games this year (487-489) but has defensively conceded 40 points less (444-484).

CHRIS SAYS

With captain Trent Cotchin returning to lead the charge, I’m backing the Tigers to bounce back here – but expect a genuine arm-wrestle. I think Richmond can match the Bulldogs through the midfield and just have their measure at end of the ground. Consider Richmond by 1-39 points at $2.05.
