More than 350 private school stars from across Victoria will lock horns on Saturday as representative sides from the prestigious APS and AGSV competitions do battle at Penleigh and Essendon Grammar.

The football sides are headlined by potential draft prospects with AFL Academy member and Marcellin young gun Will Lorenz named as co-captain alongside Charlie Naish, the son of former Tiger Chris, for AGSV.

The APS football team features Vigo Visentini, the brother of recent Port Adelaide debutant Dante, who played with Lorenz for Vic Metro at the U18 national championships.

His Sandringham Dragons teammate Cooper Lord will captain the APS side after a strong season for Scotch College, with Haileybury and Eastern Ranges playmaker Liam George serving as vice-captain.

Wesley College forward Ben Hill is coming off a stunning haul of 5.5 against Geelong Grammar in the final match of the competition.

Melbourne Grammar product Nicky Christian, the son of AFL Match Review Officer and former Collingwood premiership player Michael, has also been named in the side.

Geelong College has two representatives with goalkicker Tom Gorell and tough defender John Pring making the side, while marking forward Reef Page will represent Geelong Grammar.

Haileybury College and Caulfield Grammar make up the baulk of the APS girls side with 11 players between them, while the AGSV girls side will have six PEGS participants playing on home soil.

AGSV will be led by their young skipper Georgia Duggan, who has played four games for Calder Cannons as a bottom-ager in the Coates Talent League this year.

APS captain Isabella Caminiti is the younger sister of St Kilda young gun Anthony and has impressed for Carey Grammar and Northern Knights this season.
