Sullivan Robey is the name on every AFL recruiter’s lips, and our latest draft rankings and dossier highlight just how meteoric his rise has been.
Robey had played just four Coates Talent League games when our previous edition dropped in mid-August and thus, wasn’t among the 80 prospects included in the dossier.

From there, the powerful 192 centimetre prospect was shifted into the midfield and has dominated the finals series for the Eastern Ranges, tallying 40 disposals and three goals, 27 touches and two goals, 25 and one major and then finishing the year with four goals in their grand final win.
It has seen Robey surge from relative obscurity to No.8 in our rankings, and he isn’t the only Ranges talent rocketing up draft boards.
The two Taylors – Xavier and Oskar – aren’t related, but they both enjoyed barnstorming finishes to the season in defence for Eastern, which has seen them boost their draft standing.
Over in South Australia, Sturt key defender Blake Thredgold and goalsneak Latrelle Pickett – the cousin of Melbourne livewire Kysaiah – led their sides to premierships in the SANFL U18s and reserves respectively, while Central District forward Cameron Nairn also finished the season strongly.
St Kilda Next Generation Academy talent Kye Fincher is another riser to enter the top 40, along with his Sandringham Dragons teammate Jack Dalton, who made a remarkable recovery from a scary gym accident.
