CENTRAL District star Brad Symes is yet to make a call on whether he will return to football.
The 2012 Magarey Medallist was heavily concussed in a round one collision with Eagles player Adam Grocke, continuing a history of head injuries which have him weighing up his future.
Dogs CEO Kris Grant said Symes’ love of the game meant he was consulting with doctors and family and would not rush his decision.

“He is taking his time and having some conversations with some people before he makes his decision,’’ Grant said.

Grocke last week received a seven match ban after the tribunal found him guilty of intentional rough conduct over the incident in the first quarter of Central’s round one clash with the Eagles at Woodville.
The long term health affects associated with football concussions have become an increasing talking point.
Former AFL stars Dean Kemp and Greg Williams last year revealed they were suffering degenerative brain injuries with symptoms including memory loss.
Symes has had a history of concussions.
