Bulldogs’ sponsor partnership with Holden to stretch into a record 26th year

CENTRAL District has confirmed Holden will be retained as its chief sponsor for the 2015 season.

CENTRAL District has confirmed Holden will be retained as its chief sponsor for the 2015 season.

The car maker has committed to sponsoring the club for the next two years, stretching the long serving partnership in the SANFL to a 26th successive year.

The new deal ends fears the Bulldogs would lose its major sponsor after Holden announced its decision to stop manufacturing cars at the Elizabeth plant.

Bulldogs general manager Kris Grant said the continued commitment from Holden contributes to the stability of the club.

“Holden’s support over the 26 years is appreciated enormously by the club, and has been influential to our strengths over recent years,” Grant said.

“Our partnership with Holden is the most enduring in the SANFL competition and our profile and spirit within the community is very much stronger because of this.’’
