NORWOOD coach Nathan Bassett says the door at The Parade is still open to midfielder Bryce Campbell despite a recent argument.
NORWOOD coach Nathan Bassett says the door at The Parade is still open to midfielder Bryce Campbell, despite confirming the relationship between the pair had become strained after a recent argument.
Campbell has not trained or played with the Redlegs in more than a week and is understood to have returned to country NSW to assess his future.
Bassett confirmed there had between a disagreement between the pair, but would not elaborate on the reasons. He said Campbell would be allowed to return to the club if he chose to.
"The relationship between us has been tested, I think it's fair to say," Bassett told The Advertiser.
"Bryce has taken some time to access his footy future and he will get back to us when he is ready.

"He (Campbell) hasn't officially left the club, and whether, he does or not is up to him."
Former Adelaide Crows player Campbell returned to the field three weeks ago through Norwood's reserves, after missing more than 18 months of football with a knee injury.
The 28 year old, who missed out on the Redlegs' premiership in 2012, gathered 27 disposals in an impressive first reserves match, against South Adelaide.
