When asked whether the decision is down to West Coast and North Melbourne, Robbie D’Orazio, who works at the management group for Gaff, Connors Sports, said: “Yep”.
Gaff’s management has given him time and space to deal with the disappointment of missing out on the premiership win before further discussing his playing future.
“I haven’t even spoken to Gaffy since the Grand Final, I’m letting him enjoy it with his teammates,” D’Orazio said at TAB’s Spring Racing Carnival Launch.
“Paul (Connors) and I will both sit with him when the time is right and he’ll tell us (his decision).”

West Coast could be set for a busy trade and free agency period with Gaff and ruckman Scott Lycett both free agents who remain out of contract.
The club is also interested in Geelong’s Tim Kelly should he decide to request a trade back to Western Australia, while it has also met with GWS ruckman Rory Lobb.
