Teenage gun Tori Groves-Little has shot into the frame to make her AFLW debut this weekend, as the Lions look to back up last Sunday’s strong win.

Brisbane will head west this week to take on the Fremantle Dockers in the Round 2 clash on Sunday.

Coach Craig Starcevich named a 23-player squad for the showdown, with his final line-up to be confirmed on Friday, but it is understood 18-year-old Groves-Little is in contention for a debut as the side search for extra pace.

Starcevich wouldn’t speculate on whether there would be any changes to his side for Sunday, but said they will need to alter their game plan from what they managed to do in their season-opening win against GWS.

“What we’re looking for is to maximise our forward 50m entries,” Starcevich said ahead of Sunday’s clash.

“We’ve beaten the opposition by seven entires (30 to 23) but we’ve only won the game by two points.

“We want to get some more scoring done.

”Everything we do is a bit of a work in progress and it changes from week to week depending on the opposition … collectively as a team we have to find more efficient ways to get some value for our work.”

Groves-Little was named as an emergency for last week’s clash with GWS.

She is once again part of Starcevich’s squad, which remains unchanged from the 23 named last week, with the final line-up to be confirmed on Friday.
