Both teams have named unchanged line-ups for Sunday’s AFL Women’s grand final.

But one Crow will be given until the final minute to prove her fitness.

The Adelaide Oval clash between the Crows and Carlton kicks off at 1pm Sunday, with a call on Adelaide defender Courtney Cramey — who suffered a head knock last week — likely to be made today.

“Courtney is just working through the standard protocols for any player that receives a head knock during the game,” Adelaide coach Matthew Clarke said.

“The doctors look after them really well so therefore they leave the ultimate testing to the last minute, usually the Saturday, so we’ll wait to see but every indication is that she’ll play.”

Adelaide is hot favourite to win a second AFLW premiership in three years, having delivered consecutive 10-goal wins in recent weeks.

“The team over the last two weeks has performed really strongly,” Clarke said.

“It was far from an easy (selection) decision because the players that aren’t in the team are playing really well in the local competition and the ones that have played in our AFLW games have played well in those too.”

Carlton will have its first look at Adelaide Oval this afternoon, with Blues defender Nicola Stevens yesterday joking that the team might have to find a way to unsettle superstar Crow Erin Phillips.

“It will be interesting to see where she lines up (in the midfield or forward),” Stevens said on SEN SA.

“Hopefully if she comes forward the back six can set her off somehow. She’s a very good player. So we’ll see what we can do.”
