THE first week of the trade period is done and dusted as clubs position themselves for a hectic second week before next Thursday’s deadline.

After three deals were completed on Thursday, there was one finalised today with Hayden Crozier moving from Fremantle to the Western Bulldogs for pick 40. But the big news today was free agent Steven Motlop choosing to join Port Adelaide as a restricted free agent. The Power, having also secured Tom Rockliff earlier this week, may not be done yet with Sam Edmund and Jon Ralph reporting late this afternoon Jack Watts has decided to make a fresh start at Alberton.
