VETERAN utility David Mackay will chalk up his 200th game this weekend but has no thoughts of retirement.
Mackay, 30, is at the end of a four-year contract signed back in 2014 and said the highs in football are still as enjoyable and is negotiations for a new deal to remain at West Lakes.
He first joined the club as a third-round selection at the 2006 draft from the Oakleigh Chargers in Victoria’s TAC Cup and debuted in 2008.
Mackay is one of only three Crows in their 30s alongside Eddie Betts and Sam Jacobs but is confident he still has much to give.
"I certainly feel like there's more I want to contribute and achieve and I certainly have the drive to keep going and contribute where I can," Mackay said. "We're in discussions with the club at the moment, that's probably something that will play out in the near future obviously.
"I'm having discussions with the club about what next year looks like.
"When I came here as an 18-year-old, the goal was to play one game, then go from there.
"I feel very privileged to be a part of this club and been a part of it for a long time and loved every minute of it."
Mackay will be the 16th player to reach the 200-game milestone when he strips for the Crows against GWS in Canberra on Saturday.
