With the season over for 10 clubs, more than half of the picks in November’s National Draft have been set in stone.
Richmond has locked in the No. 1 pick, while North Melbourne and West Coast have picks 2 and 3 respectively.
The Eagles only have three picks as they continue their rebuild.
Clubs have also begun making changes to their lists as players from non-finalist teams have been told their time is up at their respective clubs.
Fremantle loom as the kings of the first round with three picks in the first 18, as picks 9 and 10 are locked in, but how their hand looks after the trade period could be another thing with Liam Baker and Shai Bolton looking to head back to Western Australia from Richmond.
The Eagles and Port Adelaide only have three picks apiece as things stand before the trade period, while Richmond has nine – although currently only one of them is in the top 20.
The Tigers would expect to move most of them on to clubs such as Carlton who are looking to match bids, and hope to bring in as many as five first-round picks with the exodus of Bolton, Baker and Daniel Rioli, who has requested a trade to the Gold Coast.
