DAVID Mackay will enter a 13th AFL campaign with Adelaide rating the veteran integral to a 2019 renaissance.
Mackay registered 200 games in the Crows’ loss to GWS in Canberra last Saturday and is elated to sign a one-year deal.
“Adelaide has been my home for a large period of my life and my family and I could not be happier,” said Victorian Mackay, pick No. 48 in the 2006 national draft.
“I am enjoying my footy as much as ever and the club is well placed for success going forward.
“Importantly, this playing group is united and determined and I am thrilled to be part of it.”
Mackay is renowned for rebound surges whether as wingman, half-back or midfielder. The 30-year-old’s professionalism and versatility was prioritised by list manager Justin Reid.
