Adelaide’s St Peter’s College among schools to raise 2025 year 12 fees above $32,000

At least four elite Adelaide schools will charge more than $31,000 for Year 12 tuition next year.
It will cost $32,910 to put a teen through Year 12 at all-boys St Peter’s College in 2025, up 5.5 per cent on last year’s fee.
This makes the college the most expensive campus in Adelaide based on current fee information made public by schools so far.
The Advertiser analysis of private school websites shows Prince Alfred College will charge $32,640 (a 5.7 per cent increase) followed by Scotch College’s $32,120 fee (up 5.8 per cent).
Pulteney Grammar School will raise its fee by 5.9 per cent to $31,350.
The schools have been contacted for comment.
Pembroke School, which topped the 2024 fee list at $31,251, is among schools yet to update their 2025 fee schedules.
Others include Walford Anglican School for Girls, St Peter’s Girls School, Seymour College and Wilderness School.
The largest percentage increase published online by an Adelaide school so far is at St Mary’s College.
The Year 12 tuition fee at the CBD campus will rise 8.1 per cent next year, from $9800 to $10,600.
Parents of students at Immanuel College, in Novar Gardens, will also feel the squeeze with a 6.4 per cent fee hike, from $22,276 to $23,716.
A series of other schools will raise Year 12 fees by around five per cent, including St John’s Grammar School in Belair, Concordia College in Highgate, St Aloysius College in the city, Loreto College in Marryatville and St Ignatius’ College in Athelstone.
St Michael’s College has increased fees by about 4.5 per cent.
Other schools, such as University Senior College and Tatachilla Lutheran College increased their fees by about one per cent.
Gleeson College was among schools that will not charge more than they did in 2024.
