The state’s peak selling season, spring, is just a few weeks away, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t a whole bunch of properties for you to pick from at auction this weekend.
According to PropTrack data, there are to 124 South Australian homes set to go under the hammer by the end of the weekend, which is about the same as this time last year.
To help you in your hunt for the perfect property, The Advertiser will live stream 11 of these auctions on Saturday, courtesy of auction streaming and bidding service Gavl.

PropTrack Economic Research director Cameron Kusher said, nationally, the time to buy and sell is now.
“While auction volumes are slowing currently, we expect to see a lift in scheduled auctions in September as we enter the spring selling season,” he said.
“Many sellers will be looking to get their properties on the market early to secure the best price possible given prices are expected to continue to decline throughout the remainder of this year.”
A separate PropTrack report shows Adelaide is tipped for up to five per cent growth for the rest of 2022, with a forecast value loss of between three and six per cent for next year.
Getting back to auctions, there was a five-way tie for the top auction suburbs this weekend with Dernancourt, Hope Valley, Ingle Farm, Magill and Modbury North all having three properties hitting the auction block this week.
Of these, you can expect spirited bidding on 12 Burnley Grove, Mitchell Park – a grand five-bedroom family home on a low-maintenance 561sqm allotment – which goes under the hammer at 10am Saturday.
The home offers some 344.9sqm of indoor and outdoor living space and sits surrounded by other quality homes in a quiet tree-lined cul-de-sac.
As great as the home is, the location here is also a huge drawcard, as it’s close to Flinders Medical Centre and University, and Marion Shopping Centre.
Just a reminder, that one’s at 10am.
Then at 2pm, this sturdy, single-owner triple-fronted Campbelltown classic hits the auction block.
Sitting on a spacious 760sqm allotment, the home has a 19m frontage and has three bedrooms, one bathroom and secure parking for four cars.
Plus, on top of all of that, it has a big rear yard with established fruit trees, a tool shed, a cellar and a rumpus room with kitchenette and storage area with a toilet.
Again, location is key here, with Linear Park, the Geoff Heath Par 3 Golf Complex, East Marden Primary School and the ARC Recreation Centre only a stroll away.
Again, the auction for this one kicks off at 2pm.
Then just 30-minutes later, this stunningly renovated three-bedroom C1900 villa at Glenelg North goes under the hammer.
Packed with period charm but complemented by the latest and greatest to ensure it wows for the next 122 years, this one sits on a 284sqm allotment and is being marketed without a price guide.
The action for this one kicks off at 2.30pm.
