Harris Real Estate has claimed two of the top three places in the prestigious 2022 Real Estate Business Top 50 SA Agents report.
The report required agents to submit figures from their settled residential sales across 2021.
Arabella Hooper claimed top spot in the report, selling more than $136m worth of property last year, and recording an average sale price of more than $1.2m.
The agent of 14 years sold 113 properties during the period, and recorded an average time on market of 27 days.
Fellow Harris agent Tom Hector took out third place, just behind Harcourts Smith’s Kate Smith.

Mrs Hooper said reacting to the ongoing pandemic had required SA’s top sellers to be agile.
“We’ve had to be able to adjust processes without much notice and had to constantly be prepared for change and the fact that there is no ‘normal’ anymore,” Mrs Hooper said.
“The agents that are able to adapt and still provide exceptional service have done very well, but more importantly, they will be the ones that will continue to do well once the market stabilises.”
In determining its rankings, the REB report considers an agent’s time in the industry, number of support staff, number of properties settled, the total dollar value of settled properties as well as the average sale price of properties sold.
Had the report not relied on agents to self-report their results, it’s likely Williams Real Estate’s Stephanie and John Williams – realestate.com.au figures show Ms Williams has a median sale price of $2.45 million and recorded 76 public sales alone in the past 12 months – and some of SA’s other prominent real estate agents like Fox’s Marina Ormsby, Klemich’s Matt Smith and Booth & Booth’s Jamie Brown, to name just a few, would have made the list.
REB editor Grace Ormsby said the calibre of agents featured in the report was high.
“We’ve seen so much growth in the South Australian real estate market over the past year, so it’s wonderful to now be able to recognise those agents who are operating at the top of their game,” says REB editor Grace Ormsby.
Alexander Ouwens, managing director of Ouwens Casserly – which had 11 agents in the top-50 list – said it was nice to see his agents recognised for their professionalism.
“We’re thrilled to have (almost) one quarter of the state’s star performers from our agency,” he said.”
