The developer behind the southern Gold Coast’s Point Danger redevelopment is now turning his attention to a site just across the road.
Prolific builder Paul Gedoun’s S & S Projects has unveiled plans for the $200m Radia tower, which is earmarked for a site on the corner of Boundary and Petrie streets, directly behind his recently completed Awaken project.
The 14-storey tower will be the developer’s fourth project in the Rainbow Bay area since 2020 and will have 48 “premium” units ranging from two to five bedrooms.
Mr Gedoun said the Gold Coast’s most southern precinct remained highly desired by buyers.
“Radia is our most luxurious development yet for Rainbow Bay and builds on a unique portfolio that from the very outset has resonated with premium apartment buyers,” he said.
“We’ve taken on-board all the buyer feedback from a successful trio of projects at Rainbow Bay to create a design that we believe is perfect for today’s market.
“This includes some of the most sophisticated amenities for residents to be found in any development on the Gold Coast.”
Construction is expected to begin in early 2025 once work on S & S’s Esprit tower, on the corner of Earl and Boundary streets, is completed.
The neighbouring Awaken tower replaced the landmark Cafe D-Bar, which had stood on the site for more than 30 years.
