With Adelaide recording the highest clearance rate in the nation this week, all eyes are on Adelaide’s auction market.
According to CoreLogic, 145 properties are going to auction across the state this week, with Adelaide’s auction clearance rate sitting at 82.9 per cent – the highest in the nation.
Director of economic research at REA Group Cameron Kusher said auction volumes across the country were higher this year compared to last.
“This indicates that vendors, auctioneers and agents are becoming more comfortable with online auctions,” he said.
“In Queensland and South Australia, confidence in the market is high as we head into the spring selling season, with the number of auctions scheduled much higher than a year ago.”
