Some of Australia’s most expensive mansions have been snapped up in secret lucrative deals by the nation’s top CEOs. Now it can be revealed how they live and what they own.

Australia’s top chief executives and business luminaries are making multimillion dollar property moves and transacting some of the nation’s most prized homes.
From Western Australia to Lizard Island in the Great Barrier Reef, these corporate tycoons and household names are living it up in Australia’s most appealing and notable abodes.
Here are some of the faces behind the nation’s biggest companies and brands who are making strategic decisions in the property market and splashing large sums of money on mansions.

GREG GOODMAN
Goodman Group founder and chief executive Greg Goodman owns a number of abodes in Sydney, especially in Woollahra.
One of his most substantial holdings is Orama house which he bought for about $15 million in 2017.
It’s understood he owns investment properties in Sydney as well.
In 2017, his six-property portfolio totalled more than $30 million in Woollahra alone.
Property records show he has sold some of his Woollahra properties including one on Moncur St for $3.7 million in 2018 and Spicer St for $2.8 million in April 2020.

BRAD BANDUCCI
TEG chief executive and former Woolworths boss Bradford Banducci snapped up a warehouse-style abode in Redfern in August 2021 for $6.85 million, property records show.
The three-bedroom house was designed by Graham Jahn and Associates and built by Bellevarde Constructions.
The ex-supermarket king also owns numerous apartments in Bondi Beach, with one two-bedroom unit costing him $2 million in 2023.
The other, three-bedroom abode in the 274 Campbell Parade building was purchased by Banducci for $1.97 million in 2012.
He also owns a two-bedroom apartment in North Bondi which he bought for $2.24 million in 2019.

NICK MOLNAR
Afterpay co-founder Nick Molnar owns an apartment block in North Bondi he purchased together for $12.4 million at the end of 2020.
The purchase of the Hastings Parade building added to his portfolio which also includes a penthouse in Ben Buckler he bought for $10 million in 2019 in his wife, Gabrielle’s name.
In 2023, the couple were in the midst of building their trophy home in the area as well, and it’s understood they purchased the North Bondi block of flats so no one could build and block their view.
And Molnar’s property portfolio extends past Australia’s borders as well, now having shared an address with Rihanna.
The singer bought a southern California condo off the tech guru for US$8 million (AUD$12.5 million) in 2023.

MICHAEL CANNON-BROOKES
Atlassian co-founder and chief executive Michael Cannon-Brookes has a number of Australian properties, mainly located in New South Wales.
At one stage, Cannon-Brookes and his estranged wife, Annie Todd had a property portfolio worth as much as $350 million.
This includes the former 100-year-old Fairfax estate ‘Fairwater’ in Sydney which was once Australia’s most expensive house when it was bought for $100 million in September 2018 by Cannon-Brookes.
He also snapped up his very own island in Queensland in 2023, spanning 135ha and four kilometre off Mission Beach, for $24.5 million.
In August 2020, the pair bought a Newport mansion built by supermodel Jennifer Hawkins and Jake Wall, reportedly for well above its $21 million asking price.
It’s a four-level compound named Casa Paloma which took Hawkins and Wall about three years to build.
Cannon-Brookes then proceeded to buy the home next door for $14.25 million in 2023.
The pair also own a $2.55 million property on Great Mackerel Beach, only accessible by boat.
The tech entrepreneur has purchased a number of lots in the Southern Highlands worth nearly $35 million including three properties in Mittagong.

RYAN STOKES
Seven Group Holdings boss Ryan Stokes owns two waterfront mansions in Palm Beach, Queensland worth $8 million.
The media executive purchased a three-level abode for $4.625 million after buying the house next door in 2016 for $3.375 million.
He formally owned a three-bedroom penthouse in Walsh Bay, Sydney but sold it for about $7.8 million in 2017.
Stokes and his wife, Claire Campbell bought a Darling Point abode for about $16 million in the same year as well.

ANDREW FORREST
Fortescue founder and chief executive Andrew Forrest owns properties from Western Australia to Queensland.
He owns a 130-year, waterfront Cottesloe home he bought for $15.6 million in 2022 which sits on 1492sq m and was one of the first residences in the suburb.
The mining magnate even has a $42 million leasehold on part of Lizard Island in the Great Barrier Reef, comprising about 2000ha of land.
Forrest and his estranged wife, Nicola subleased the island which is 250km off the coast of Cairns and operates as a resort with 40 rooms and villas, a restaurant, bar and day spa.
He also purchased the late Olivia Newton-John’s wellness retreat Gaia for about $30 million.
Just outside of Byron, Gaia has 22 suites, a fitness centre, restaurant and day spa on its 8ha block looking over the coastline.
It’s understood the billionaire snapped up a $16.3 million Point Piper mansion in 2018 sight-unseen as well.
The esteemed waterfront home in Sydney has its own jetty and boatshed.
LUKE SAYERS
Former PwC chief executive and ex-president of Carlton Football Club Luke Sayers sold his Hawthorn East mansion for more than $16.5 million.
The controversial businessman — who was tied up in a lewd-photo scandal at the beginning of this year — listed the property with his wife, Cate for $15.5 million to $16.5 million in October 2024.
Named Strathnaver, the seven-bedroom house was built in the 1880s and features a three-storey tower with 360 degree views as well as a two-storey pool house.
DON MEIJ
Ex-pizza king Don Meij who stepped down from Dominos Pizza Enterprises in August last year, sold his Hamilton Hill home in Brisbane in June 2023.
The triple-storey abode on Eldernell Terrace sat on the market for about four months, with Meij looking for offers above $8 million by the end.
According to realestate.com.au, the residence was under contract on June 14 — just a day after the former pizza boss announced the firm was closing Domino’s Denmark and selling off or closing 65-70 per cent of its underperforming stores.
Property records show he purchased the house for $7.25 million in February 2018.
Meij also snagged a Newstead penthouse in Brisbane for $12.95 million in February 2023 in Cavcorp’s Luminare tower.
He also bought a separate, two-bedroom apartment in the building for $1.5 million.
Meij sold a Gold Coast, beachfront apartment at 3531-3533 Main Beach Parade for $7.75 million in 2022 as well, which he paid $5.35 million for in June 2020.
