AUCTION REPLAYS AND RESULTS
Prospect and Seaton are the state’s top suburbs for auctions between September 12 and September 18, with each having five scheduled.
Largs Bay is the next most popular with four, while Broadview and Campbelltown both have three.
PropTrack economist Anne Flaherty said nationally it was a big weekend for auctions.
“This weekend is set to be a busy one for the property market,” she said.
“While spring is typically the busiest time of year in the property market, sales activity is unlikely to pick up significantly until the first week of October due to the September school and public holidays.
“This is also in line with historic trends that reveal October as the most popular month of the year in which to sell,” said Anne Flaherty, Economist, PropTrack.
Hitting the auction block at 10am Saturday was a stunningly renovated character beauty at 28 Ralston St, Largs Bay.
This home sits on an 820sqm block and has five bedrooms, two bathrooms and three parking spaces.
That one was advertised without a price guide.
Then at 11am a renovated and extended bluestone cottage at 52 Porter St, Parkside went under the hammer.
The home has three bedrooms, one bathroom and one parking space and offers easy access to both the city and shopping and dining options on Unley Rd and Duthy St.
This one carried a price guide of $1 million.
Then later that afternoon, at 4.30pm, a breathtaking hilltop home hit the market at 12 Adamson Ave, Belair.
This place sits on a spacious 1993sqm allotment and has three bedrooms, a study and two bathrooms, offering enviable expansive views over the city and suburbs.
This one was offered without a price guide too.
