Donald Trump’s pick of Robert F Kennedy to run America’s health department has sent another shockwave around the country.

Now a major US media outlet that supported Mr Trump’s campaign has drawn the line at Mr Kennedy’s proposed role.

It’s called him “nuts” and urged the President-elect to take action on the core issues of concern to Americans and not spend time defending the “crackpot theories” of Mr Kennedy.

Mr Trump has also nominated two of his own lawyers for senior roles, cementing loyalty as the main trait needed in the Justice Department

His controversial pick for Attorney-General Matt Gaetz continues to cause waves with doubts whether he will ever be able to take the role on considering the opposition.

Meanwhile, Elon Musk’s Tesla has reportedly told the Trump transition team it would be happy for EV subsidies to be ditched – despite that likely leading to fewer Tesla sales.
