Ahead of the official ceremony where Mr Trump was sworn in as the 47th US president, Amazon founder Jeff Bezos, Meta boss Mark Zuckerberg, Google chief Sundar Pichai and Tesla star Elon Musk were snapped together as they took their seats.
The photos showed a rare sight: four of the world’s richest men standing together.
Their combined net worth is more than US$850billion ($A1.4 trillion) – just US$150billion short of a trillion dollars.
Elon Musk, the richest man in the world, has a net worth of US $433.9 billion ($A692.3bn), while Mark Zuckerberg’s wealth has been estimated at US$211 billion ($A337.9bn) and Amazon boss Jeff Bezos is reportedly worth US$239 billion ($A382bn).
Google CEO Sundar Pichai’s riches have been estimated at a comparatively modest US$1.3 billion ($A2.07bn).
