An investigation into the suicide bombing, which occurred at Manchester Arena at the end of a concert by pop star Ariana Grande on May 22, killed 22 and injured more than 110.

British-born extremist Salman Abedi detonated a powerful nail bomb in the foyer as revellers filed out.

It was the country’s worst attack in more than a decade and police sprang into action, hunting a network of terrorists connected to Abedi.

A number of people have been arrested in the weeks since.

Authorities also said overnight they had located a car connected to Abedi and collected “significant” evidence.

Tensions were already high in the wake of the Manchester tragedy in the lead up to the weekend’s attack in the heart of London.

Three men drove a van into pedestrians on London Bridge before launching a knife rampage that has killed seven people, including two Australians.

A number of victims remain in hospital with a range of injuries.
