Disturbing Virginia Giuffre claim emerges after tragic death

A social post made by sex trafficking victim Virginia Giuffre before her life spiralled out of control has re-emerged, as conspiracy theorists put forward their shocking theories.

Virginia Giuffre, accuser of Jeffrey Epstein and Prince Andrew, dies by suicide

An unearthed social media post reveals sex trafficking victim Virginia Giuffre had posted that she had no intention of taking her own life just five years ago, as conspiracy theorists hijack her suicide with baseless theories.

Giuffre became a household name when she chose to speak out about the years of sexual abuse she suffered at the hands of wealthy pedophile Jeffrey Epstein and his accomplice Ghislaine Maxwell when she was just 16.

She was widely praised for having the courage to identify rich and powerful people who assaulted her, but she also became the subject of intense ridicule from those who didn’t believe her story.

Giuffre was found dead at her farm in Neergabby, north of Perth, just before 10pm on Friday. Police said there will be an investigation, but her death is not being treated as suspicious. Her family then issued a statement to confirm that she took her own life.

When Epstein was jailed for sex trafficking offences, and subsequently died in custody, she feared his associates, who worried about being exposed, were out to silence her.

In 2019, she wrote a post on X, saying: “I am making it publicly known that in no way, shape or form am I suicidal. I have made this known to my therapist and GP – if something happens to me, [for] the sake of my family, do not let this go away and help me to protect them.

“Too many people want to see me quieted.”

The tragedy is a bleak window into how her life spiralled in five short years. Within that time, her marriage to Robert Giuffre broke down, she was estranged from her children and was living away from the family home in Perth.

She then posted a concerning photo on Instagram where she was battered and bruised and lying in a hospital bed. She said she was involved in a high-speed bus crash and was dying from kidney failure.

Police confirmed the crash was minor and resulted in $2000 worth of damages, raising further concerns for her health, including mental.

However, the official confirmation that she died by suicide didn’t stop conspiracy theorists from purporting baseless claims that her death was somehow staged.

A number of US-based influencers and MAGA supporters have falsely suggested Giuffre was murdered by people who wanted to keep their link to Epstein’s crimes quiet. Many also subscribe to the false belief that Epstein was murdered in jail, rather than taking his own life.

Laura Loomer, a close ally to US President Donald Trump, pointed to a conspiracy against her.

“I don’t believe Virginia Giuffre committed suicide. Just like I don’t believe Jeffrey Epstein committed suicide ... now they say she killed herself? Sounds like someone wanted her dead,” she wrote on X.

Marjorie Taylor Greene, a Republican congresswoman from Georgia, addressed Giuffre’s death in an Instagram post, stating she died by “suicide”, with the word in quotes. She also said the ‘truth needs to come out [no] matter who is responsible.’

Others in X were deeply troubled by her death, but also peddled a baseless suggestion that she didn’t take her own life.

“This is a tragic and unnecessary lost life of another Epstein victim, Virginia Giuffre. I don’t believe for a second this was another coincidental “suicide.” We’re not stupid. Epstein victims need justice! Where are the damn Epstein files anyway? It’s beyond ridiculous!” one person wrote.

Many of them directly blamed the Department of Justice and the FBI.

“I fully believe Virginia Giuffre didn’t k*ll herself. She deserved justice ... the FBI failed her ... she should have been protected,” one posted on X.

The only person who was ever successfully prosecuted over her claims was Maxwell, who is serving 20 years in prison for her part in Epstein’s pedophile ring.
