WELCOME to your new-look Advertiser website!
Today we’re excited to launch a new era for South Australia’s favourite and most trusted source of local news.
Our website now has a fresh new design and is packed with features that make it more reader-friendly than ever before.
We’ve made Advertiser.com.au cleaner, faster and easier to navigate so you can access our exclusive, agenda-setting journalism when you want it and, more importantly, when you need it.
In updating our digital platforms — website, mobile site, apps and email newsletters — all the changes have been based on feedback and extensive testing with readers just like you.
What’s new?
► Cleaner design: You’ll immediately notice the decluttered design that makes it easier for you to browse the site and find stories that interest you.
► Fully responsive: The new site is faster to load and reshapes to fit on whatever screen you want to display it on — from a smartphone to a tablet to a widescreen desktop monitor.
► Full access on mobile: Our mobile site used to show a cut-down version of the desktop homepage but the new version has full content parity, so mobile readers are seeing all the same stories as desktop users.
► Improved navigation: The black bar at the top ties the whole site together. It includes a completely redesigned navigation menu that makes it easier than ever to find your way around the site, plus for subscribers there’s easy access to the daily digital replica of the paper and your Member Rewards portal.
► Digital Print Edition: As a subscriber you can read The Advertiser and Sunday Mail newspapers as they were printed, in your favourite browser and on any device — and we’ve made it easier than ever to navigate to this hugely popular feature.
► More content from your favourite sections: We’ve given additional homepage prominence to some of our most popular and important sections — more world news, more national news, more food and wine content from The Source SA.
► Real Estate revamped: We’ve completely redesigned the Real Estate section so it’s packed with relevant stories for South Australian buyers, sellers and homeowners — plus our popular special feature SA’s Top 100 Homes showcasing the hottest new properties for sale.
► New newsletters: Look for the newsletter sign-up widget on the homepage and other major sections — just enter your email address and you’re in. Get daily News and Sport newsletters, plus weekly newsletters from Messenger, SA Business Journal and The Source SA, sent directly to your inbox. Just go to Advertiser.com.au/newsletter and choose the ones you want to receive.
► New app: We’re getting ready to relaunch The Advertiser app for iOS and Android to incorporate both customisable live news feeds from our website, and the digital print edition of the daily newspaper. Stay tuned!
