Tourists seen bashing security guards outside popular Bali venue

Several foreigners, including one identified as an Australian, beat up security outside Finns Beach Club in North Kuta.

Shocking video has emerged of a violent brawl involving foreigners at a popular Bali beach club.

Balinese media outlet detikbali reported several foreigners, including one identified as an Australian, beat up security outside Finns Beach Club in North Kuta on Tuesday night.

Badung Police spokesman Putu Sukarma said the brawl was triggered by a commotion that began inside the club. Police said security spotted one of the alleged perpetrators strangling another guest after an altercation involving a woman.

“Security tried to control the situation and remove the guests but once outside the guests began to rebel against the guards,” police said.

The confronting footage showed the shirtless foreign tourists assaulting security with blocks of wood before fleeing the scene.

“Let’s go, bro, let’s go,” one of them is heard saying.

According to police, the tourists then fled the scene.

Mr Sukarma said one witness reported seeing four white men beat two security guards before fleeing north towards Jalan Pantai Berawa.

One security guard was taken to Hydro Medical Bali Clinic to receive treatment for a broken nose and teeth, The Daily Mail reported.

Three other guards were also injured. One suffered a bite to the hand while two others had head abrasions.

Police are still looking for the men involved, but one of the suspected perpetrators has already been questioned.
